Trick or Treat?
Early voting is almost over, Halloween is upon us. This election year we need to ask the question, "do we get a treat, or will politicians trick us again?" Tuesday, November 2, is your last chance to decide.

Meetings and Money
With this break between academic quarters I am just finishing up office visits with several members of the county staff. It was very kind of them to make time for a private citizen, but that's the kind of people I found them to be, dedicated, caring people interested in serving the public. Today is the day for financial disclosures in the campaign. That is, to list all the contributions and all the expenditures. So far, all my expenditures have been mostly out of pocket, so that will be easy for me. Tonight will be the second in a series of open meetings seeking ways to get civility back into government. It is at the Spout Springs library, and everyone's positive input is solicited.

Decision Made: Lutz vs. Godfrey
It is now decided: Mr. Craig Lutz versus Dr. Paul Wayne Godfrey. Congratulations to Craig for being his party's nominee. I urge everyone in South Hall to compare our credentials and past performance when deciding for whom to vote. Our county needs a sound economic footing and the commissioners of the county can be a positive part of that. A vote for me guarantees that positive contribution.
